Cupid Corn

I have been busy doing all sorts of Valentines crafts for school parties and gifts for teachers and what not...I just wanted to share Cupid Corn with you!! This stuff is soo good!!
I happened to have a tons of popcorn boxes that I got from JoAnn's and hole punched a hole at every scallop. Then weaved the ribbon through. On the front, I had some cute stickers I stuck on the front and BAM!! Quick and easy teacher gift!
Here is the back so you can see the weaving.
All put together. Just get some cellophane, wrap it up and tie with cute ribbon!

Cupid Corn

1 bag of popcorn...no butter or light butter
Almond bark...5-6 squares
M&M's
pink chocolate disks
sprinkles

Pop the popcorn. Melt down the white chocolate. Mix the popcorn and chocolate together and slowly add the M&M's and sprinkles. Lay out mixture on Parchment paper. I added some more sprinkles just for good measure;) Melt about 10 disks in a plastic baggie, snip the end, drizzle all over the popcorn. Let it dry and break into pieces and put in your cute popcorn box.

Well, this Friday night we had a Family Fun Night and ate some Pizza Pretzels, watched Pink Panter 2 and ate this yummy stuff. Hope you enjoy!

Candy Corn Popcorn

Ever heard of Candy Corn Popcorn? Well, let me be the first to introduce it to you! It is pretty amazing!! I am in the PTA and we made it for the kids classes for Halloween...this lady, Michelle, invented it. Once you try it, you really truly cannot stop eating it! Sorry I'm late in posting this, but hey, you can get candy corn all year round, you can make it any time you want! Thanksgiving would be good as well!
It's called Candy Corn Popcorn because the orange goo is really melted candy corn. I had no idea that stuff actually melted...here is the proof!
This is what we made for the kids classes. Caden already opened his hand, I had to wrestle it out of his hands so I could take a picture of it. But this isn't anything new, just a reminder you can do this next year!

Candy Corn Popcorn

2 c. Candy Corn
1/4 c. Karo Syrup
2 bags of popped natural pop corn**

Melt together, bring it to a boil, and drizzle it over your SALTED popped pop corn.
**If you want to use the popcorn machine, you can do that as well...you'll know how much popcorn you will need to get the right consistency. It isn't like caramel corn where it is drenched in caramel...just look at the picture!
